Ohm's Law Calculator, by Scanly Studio

Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought through, not by us, so they are cancelled there rather than in the app. On Android: Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ohm's Law Calculator → Cancel subscription. On an iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ohm's Law Calculator → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.

If you bought the lifetime option, there is nothing to cancel: it is a one-time purchase and it does not renew.

I paid but the app still asks me to

Tap Restore on the plan screen or in Settings. That asks the store for purchases made with the Google account (Android) or Apple Account (iPhone) currently signed in on the device, so if you bought it on a different account, switch to that one first. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the receipt the store sent you and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store you bought through. On Android, request one in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or at Google Play Help. On an iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue a refund on the store's behalf, but tell us what went wrong anyway: it is how the app gets better.

Units and appearance

Switch between US units (AWG, feet, °F) and metric (mm², meters, °C) in Settings. Light, dark or system appearance is in the same screen.

Favorites and recent calculations

Tap the star on any calculator to pin it to Home; reorder pins with Edit. Recent calculations keep the values you typed. Clear them in Settings.

The values and code references

Results follow the NEC 2026 tables and the formulas cited under each result. They are a reference for planning, not a substitute for the code book, the authority having jurisdiction, or a licensed electrician. If a value looks wrong, email us with the calculator name and inputs.

Moving to a new phone

Your favorites and history live only on the phone you entered them on. There is no account or cloud copy on our side, so they travel with your phone's own backup and restore, not through the app. A Pro purchase moves with your store account: tap Restore on the new phone.

Deleting your data

Your entries are stored on your phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
